Subject: | Free Admission for Veterans to PHMC Historic Sites and Museums (Prior HB 2503) |
I plan to reintroduce legislation that amends Title 37 (History Code) to offer free admission to PHMC historic sites for active duty, retired and disabled military personnel and their immediate family. The legislation would apply to active duty and retired military members and veterans who have a 100% service-related disability, plus their immediate family. Military personnel and veterans who qualify would have to provide identification in order to receive free admission. I think this is a great way to honor these soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who give so much so that we can be safe. Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation.
