House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: June 24, 2014 04:28 PM
From: Representative Mark B. Cohen and Rep. Peter J. Daley
To: All House members
Subject: Resolution recognizing the 15th anniversary of the Law and Government Institute of Widener University School of Law

As two of the many state government graduates of the Widener University School of Law, we plan to introduce a resolution in the very near future recognizing the 15th anniversary of Widener’s Law and Government Institute. The Institute plays a vital role in state government. In addition to partnering with policymakers, the media, and key state officials to explore the intersections of policy, politics and the law, law students publish articles for the continuing legal education programs of the Statutory Law Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Students of the Institute also contribute by completing externships with state government and prepare annotations for the Pennsylvania Code.

Please join Rep. Peter Daley and me in congratulating the Law and Government Institute of Widener University School of Law for their contributions to the Commonwealth and outstanding service to the General Assembly by cosponsoring this resolution commemorating their 15th anniversary.

If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Seidl of my office at 7-4117 or kseidl@pahouse.net.

Thank you
