House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 24, 2014 10:12 AM
From: Representative Daniel T. McNeill
To: All House members
Subject: Co-sponsorship of legislation to require candidates to disclose a felony conviction

In order to improve the integrity of elections in Pennsylvania, I plan to introduce legislation that would reform the beginning of the electoral process.

I will be introducing legislation, in the near future, that would amend the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act to require candidates for office who have been convicted of a felony to append to their Statement of Financial Interest filed with the Ethics Commission and the Department of State a record of the felony conviction.

I welcome your co-sponsorship and encourage you to add your name to this legislation.

Introduced as HB2324
