Subject: Resolution designating May 2014 as "Coal Heritage Month"
 
I will introduce a resolution designating the month of May, 2014 as "Coal Heritage Month" in Pennsylvania.

Coal has played a significant role in the history of Pennsylvania, and specifically, in northeastern Pennsylvania. Northeastern Pennsylvania is home to the largest deposit of anthracite coal in the world and is known as the "coal region".

Please join me in honoring coal's place in Pennsylvania history by cosponsoring this resolution.
