Subject: Resolution Designating the Week of May 11 through 17, 2014, as "National Hospital Week" in Pennsylvania.
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing May 11-17, 2014, as "National Hospital Week" in Pennsylvania.

Hospitals play a vital role in Pennsylvania community’s overall health, which extends far beyond strictly providing medical care. Recognizing May 11-17, 2014, as "National Hospital Week" in Pennsylvania also affords us an opportunity to thank physicians, therapists, nurses, engineers, food services workers, volunteers, administrators and so many more for their commitment to our communities.

Please consider joining me in celebrating the contributions of hospitals and their employees by Designating the Week of May 11 through 17, 2014, as "National Hospital Week" in Pennsylvania.
