Subject: Fragrance Free Schools Act
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation regarding fragrance allergies among students in public schools. This legislation will provide for notice of fragrance allergy and for a prohibition on the use of scented products in certain public schools. The prohibition would take effect after the school receives notification that a student has a fragrance allergy. This legislation is the result of a local student’s severe allergic reaction to Axe body spray.
