Subject: Sesquicentennial Anniversary for the Borough of Slatington
 
Please join me in sponsoring a resolution commemorating the sesquicentennial anniversary of the Borough of Slatington. Slatington Borough was incorporated in August of 1864 and is currently home to more than 4,000 people in the Lehigh Valley.

The Slatington Sesquicentennial Committee has begun a year of celebration with festivities commemorating Slatington’s history and activities recognizing those who lived, worked and volunteered in the borough.

I hope you will join me in congratulating Slatington Borough on this momentous occasion.
