MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 18, 2013 03:35 PM
From: Representative Thomas P. Murt
To: All House members
Subject: SP4 Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr. Memorial Bridge

In the near future, I will be introducing legislation designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 263 over the Pennypack Creek, Borough of Hatboro, Montgomery County, as the SP4 Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr. Memorial Bridge.

Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr., a resident of Hatboro, Montgomery County, began his tour of duty in Vietnam on November 15, 1968 as a Specialist 4 with the 101st Airborne Division. On June 5, 1969, SP4 Ruttle, age 23, was killed in Quang Tin Province by an enemy explosive device while valiantly serving his country.
