Subject: | SP4 Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr. Memorial Bridge |
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 263 over the Pennypack Creek, Borough of Hatboro, Montgomery County, as the SP4 Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr. Memorial Bridge. Robert Preston Ruttle, Jr., a resident of Hatboro, Montgomery County, began his tour of duty in Vietnam on November 15, 1968 as a Specialist 4 with the 101st Airborne Division. On June 5, 1969, SP4 Ruttle, age 23, was killed in Quang Tin Province by an enemy explosive device while valiantly serving his country. If you have any questions regarding this legislation, please contact Bonnie Book at bbook@pahousegop.com or 787-6886. |
