Subject: | Co-Sponsorship Request – 238th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States Army |
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution that recognizes the 238th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army. Since 1775, thousands of brave men and women have sacrificed their own lives to ensure the safety, security, and freedom of Americans at home and abroad. The heroic soldiers of the United States Army live and abide by the Seven Core Army Values, including loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. The courage and commitment of our Army soldiers is both honorable and admirable and, as State Representatives, I believe that we should encourage all Pennsylvanians to remember the sacrifices of the brave men and women past and present who valiantly served our country by recognizing the United States Army’s 238th anniversary. Please join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation. |
