Subject: Definition of a crossbow (Title 34 Game)
 
On January 24, 2012 the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners gave preliminary approval to a regulation change that made permanent the lawful use of crossbows in archery deer, bear and turkey seasons. The vote of the Board was unanimous and the final adoption occurred in April 2012.

With that in mind, I will soon introduce legislation that removes language from Title 34 (Game) that has been made unnecessary by the Board's action. With my bill, crossbow will become allowable implements with which to hunt big game in Pennsylvania permanently.
