Subject:	Ben Franklin Birthday

Upon our return to Session, I will be introducing a Resolution recognizing January 17, 2013 as the 307th Birthday of Benjamin Franklin. The Resolution cites the numerous achievements of Benjamin Franklin including his service as Chief Clerk and Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, his role in drafting the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and his frequently being called “the most brilliant man of the 18th Century.”
