ROHRER, Samuel E., a Representative from Berks County; born in Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, August 11, 1955; graduated, Tuscarawas Valley High School, 1973; B.S., management, Bob Jones University, 1977; director of marketing, Graco Children’s Products (13 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1993 term; reelected to the House for 8 terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Public Education Funding (2001-2002); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2010); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania Governor (2010); state director, Americans for Prosperity (2011); unsuccessful campaign for United States Senate (2012); president, Pennsylvania Pastors’ Network (2013-present).
