JOHNSON, Kenyatta J., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, Edward Bok High School, 1991; B.A., Mansfield University of Pennsylvania (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1996; M.G.A., University of Pennsylvania, Fels Institute of Government, 2001; certificate, Non-Profit Leadership/Board Management, Harvard University Business School, 2006; public safety liaison, Pennsylvania Senator Anthony Williams; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2009 and 2011 terms; appointed, Joint Conservation Committee (2009-2010); resigned from the House, January 2, 2012; elected, member, city council, Philadelphia (2012-present).
