This amendment corrects drafting errors in the bill. It was drafted after consulting with the UNOS, the United Network for Organ Sharing. (UNOS is the private, nonprofit organization which maintains the nationwide data base of organs and recipients. UNOS does this pursuant to the federal National Organ Transplant Act.) It is the same amendment adopted unanimously by the House Judiciary Committee last session
