Brief Description
Limits the concurrent jurisdiction of the Attorney General jurisdiction to any felony offense under Subchapter B. Further provides that prior to investigating or instituting criminal proceedings for a felony animal cruelty offense, the Attorney General shall submit a written request and receive permission from the district attorney with jurisdiction to prosecute the offense. The Attorney General may also assume jurisdiction if such request is made and the DA fails to respond within 10 days of the request.
