AN ACT
Prohibiting the use of State funds for relocation of licensed
facilities.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the State Funds
for Relocation Prohibition Act.
Section 2. Definitions.
The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:
"Commonwealth agency." As defined in 62 Pa.C.S. § 103
(relating to definitions).
"Licensed facility." As defined in 4 Pa.C.S. § 1103
(relating to definitions).
Section 3. Prohibition on use of State funds.
No money of a fund in the State Treasury may be used directly

or indirectly by a Commonwealth agency for the relocation of a
licensed facility, and no Commonwealth agency shall provide
State funds to a municipality or instrumentality thereof for the
purpose of relocating a licensed facility.
Section 4. Effective date.
This act shall take effect immediately.
