AN ACT
Amending Title 58 (Oil and Gas) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in development, further providing for well plugging
funds.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 3271(a) of Title 58 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 3271. Well plugging funds.
(a) Appropriation.--Fines, civil penalties and permit and
registration fees collected under this chapter [are appropriated
to the department to carry out the purposes of this chapter]
shall be deposited in the General Fund.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
