A RESOLUTION
Directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study
the merits of consolidating Department of Transportation
districts.
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives direct the
Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study the merits of
consolidating Department of Transportation districts; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That the study shall contain an estimate of cost
savings; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the study shall consider only the
consolidation of Department of Transportation district
headquarters and not maintenance or storage facilities; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That within 90 days of the adoption of this
resolution, the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee submit
a report of the study to the Chief Clerk of the House of
Representatives.
