A RESOLUTION
Designating the month of November 2017 as "American Music Month"
in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Music, often described as the universal language, is
one of the great arts and its value is recognized as a source of
enrichment in our lives; and
WHEREAS, The annual Parade of American Music, sponsored by
the National Federation of Music Clubs, is featured throughout
the month of November to give due recognition to America's music
traditions and to encourage and support United States composers;
and
WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs is a
component of the National Federation of Music Clubs and joins in
the parade with its notable purposes; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
month of November 2017 as "American Music Month" in
