AN ACT
Amending the act of February 13, 1970 (P.L.19, No.10), entitled
"An act enabling certain minors to consent to medical, dental
and health services, declaring consent unnecessary under
certain circumstances," providing for enforcement and
penalties.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The act of February 13, 1970 (P.L.19, No.10),
entitled "An act enabling certain minors to consent to medical,
dental and health services, declaring consent unnecessary under
certain circumstances," is amended by adding a section to read:
Section 6. Enforcement and Penalties.--(a) The Department
of Human Services shall enforce the provisions of this act.
(b) The Department of Human Services shall impose an
administrative penalty on a person who does not comply with
procedures under section 1.1 or 1.2 as follows:
(1) For a first offense, one thousand dollars.
(2) For a second offense, two thousand dollars.
(3) For a third or subsequent offense, five thousand

dollars.
Section 2. This amendatory act shall be known and may be
cited as Gabby's Law.
Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
