AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in assault, further providing for
propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle or onto a
roadway.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2707(a) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 2707. Propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle or onto
a roadway.
(a) Occupied vehicles.--Whoever intentionally throws, shoots
or propels a rock, stone, brick, or piece of iron, steel or
other like metal, or any deadly or dangerous missile, or fire
bomb, into a vehicle or instrumentality of public transportation
that is occupied by one or more persons commits a [misdemeanor
of the first degree] felony of the third degree.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
