AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in powers of Department of Transportation and local
authorities, further providing for display of unauthorized
signs, signals or markings.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 6125 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 6125. Display of unauthorized signs, signals or markings.

(e) Agricultural business advertising signs.--The department
on State-designated highways, including intersections with local
highways, shall establish and enforce specifications for the
erection and maintenance of agricultural business advertising
signs, including, but not limited to, signs that advertise local
farm markets and wayside fresh produce stands. In carrying out
its duties under this subsection, the department may not require
the owner of an agricultural business advertising sign to apply

for and obtain a permit from the department.
Section 2. The regulations set forth at 67 Pa. Code Ch. 445
are abrogated to the extent of any inconsistency with this act.
Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
