1Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2act relating to the public school system, including certain
3provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5laws relating thereto," further providing for criminal
6history of employees and prospective employees.

7The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8hereby enacts as follows:

9Section 1. Section 111 of the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30,
10No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by
11adding a subsection to read:

12Section 111. Criminal History of Employes and Prospective 
13Employes; Conviction of Certain Offenses.--

15(h.1) Subject to the requirements of subsection (j), any bus 
16driver who is an independent contractor or is employed by an 
17independent contractor and who has once obtained the information 
18required under subsections (b), (c) and (c.1) may provide 
19services to the same school district, public or private school, 

1intermediate unit or area vocational-technical school, as an 
2independent contractor or employe of an independent contractor, 
3and shall not be required to obtain additional reports before 
4providing such services.
