A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing the members and sponsors of the Aktion Club of
2 Bradford as the newest service club in Bradford.
3 WHEREAS, The Aktion Club of Bradford has been chartered as
4 the newest member of the Kiwanis family of service clubs; and
5 WHEREAS, The Aktion Club of Bradford is an organization where
6 persons of varying abilities may contribute to the betterment of
7 their communities; and
8 WHEREAS, The Aktion Club of Bradford is sponsored by the
9 Bradford Kiwanis Club in conjunction with the Bradford High
10 School Key Club, Evergreen Elm, Inc. and Dallas-Morris Drilling,
11 Inc., as cosponsors; and
12 WHEREAS, The members of this newest service club in Bradford
13 have demonstrated their desire to be a positive force in the
14 community by giving of themselves to various projects that will
15 enhance the quality of life of the area in which they live;
16 therefore be it
17 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
1 members and sponsors of the Aktion Club of Bradford and commend
2 them for their efforts in the establishment of this new
3 organization designed to promote and improve the lives of the
4 citizens of their community.
