                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of April 6, 1956 (P.L.1429), entitled "An act
     2     providing for and regulating the licensing of poultry
     3     technicians by the Secretary of Agriculture for the drawing
     4     of blood from poultry to be used in pullorum testing
     5     programs," reducing certain age requirements.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  Section 2, act of April 6, 1956 (P.L.1429),
     9  entitled "An act providing for and regulating the licensing of
    10  poultry technicians by the Secretary of Agriculture for the
    11  drawing of blood from poultry to be used in pullorum testing
    12  programs," is amended to read:
    13     Section 2.  Every applicant for licensure as a poultry
    14  technician shall furnish evidence that he is at least [twenty-
    15  one] eighteen years of age, a citizen of the United States, or
    16  has legally declared his intention to become such, is of good
    17  moral character, has completed at least eight years of education
    18  in a public, parochial or private school, or its equivalent, as
    19  evaluated by the Department of Public Instruction, and has


     1  satisfactorily completed a course of training in poultry blood-
     2  testing as prescribed by the Department of Agriculture.
