                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of April 28, 1961 (P.L.135), entitled "An act
     2     authorizing the licensing of public weighmasters; defining
     3     their powers and duties; providing for the collection and
     4     disposition of license fees and imposing penalties for
     5     violations," reducing certain age requirements.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  Section 4, act of April 28, 1961 (P.L.135), known
     9  as the "Public Weighmaster's Act," is amended to read:
    10     Section 4.  A citizen of the United States who is a resident
    11  of the Commonwealth, not less than [twenty-one] eighteen years
    12  of age, of good moral character, and who has the ability to
    13  weigh accurately and to make correct weight certificates, and
    14  who has received from the director a license as a licensed
    15  public weighmaster, shall be styled and authorized to act as a
    16  licensed public weighmaster.
