BOYD, Scott W., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, 1958, in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pa.; graduated, Lampeter-Strasburg High School, 1976; B.A., political science, Millersville State College (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), 1980; graduated, Lancaster County Master Planning Course; president and CEO, White Oak Display & Design Incorporated (1992-2001; part-owner, 2001-2010); member, Republican Committee of Lancaster County; member, West Lampeter Planning Commission (1993-1997, 1999-2002); member, Pequea Township Citizens Advisory Group; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2002; reelected to serve 4 more terms; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012).
