ZERN, Peter Paul, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May of 1831 in Germany; moulder; tobacconist (23 years); elected, council, Pittsburgh (1853-1861); member, police commission, Pittsburgh; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1875, 1876, 1877 and 1878 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for 1879 term; engaged in real estate and insurance (1888-1900); died, February 23, 1907 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Christ our Redeemer Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
