ROBERTSON, Andrew Clifford, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 4, 1850 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland; glassblower; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1882, 1884 and 1886; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1888); elected, select council, 35th Ward, Pittsburgh (1889-1894); attorney-at-law; elected, chair, Allegheny County Republican Committee (1895-1902); unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1901); died, March 16, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
