Jacob Good Shuman (Whig7) Lancaster and Lebanon Counties 1855-1857

Early Life:            

Jacob Good Shuman, born, July 27, 1811, Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; son of Jacob and Mary Witman Shuman; elected, Whig, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1855-1857; married, Frances “Franny” Stehman, seven children, all died before reaching eighth birthday; died, August 4, 1858, Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interment, speculation, Henry Hostetter Farm Cemetery, one mile South West Central Manor, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, no records found.

Elected, Whig, Pennsylvania State Senate, 7th district, Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, 1855-1857.
