LEVDANSKY, David K., a Representative from Allegheny and Washington Counties; born in Monongahela, Washington County, Pa., October 16, 1954; graduated, Elizabeth Forward High School; B.A., political science/labor studies, The Pennsylvania State University, 1978; M.A., economics, University of Notre Dame, 1980; economic analysis and organizer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1984; reelected to serve 12 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Eminent Domain (1997-1998); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (1999-2010); appointed, Task Force on Commonwealth-Owned Lands (2002); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (2010, 2012).
