WOJNAROSKI, Edward P., Sr., a Representative from Cambria County; born in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pa., July 22, 1939; graduated, Johnstown Catholic High School, 1957; attended, Wilimatic College, 1964; attended, Mitchell Business School, 1966; served, United States Army (1960-1962); elected, controller, Johnstown (1982-1996); member, Greater Johnstown School Board; president, Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech School Board; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1997 term; reelected 5 consecutive terms thereafter, appointed, co-chair, Commission on Postsecondary Education for the 21st Century (1999-2000); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2008); appointed, Pennsylvania State Veterans’ Commission (2009-2013).
