Doctor Harry Hayes Lamb, born October 7, 1876, Dickson, Dickson County, Tennessee; son of James and Maria Smith Gates Lamb; moved to Hubbard, Trumball County, Ohio, settling in Rockland Township, Venango County, 1883; attended country schools; Clarion State Normal School; Allegheny College; Grove City College, B.S.; taught school; Hahnemann Medical College, Philadelphia, M.D.; internship, Hahnemann Hospital; private physician practice first, Rouseville, Pennsylvania, then, Oil City, Pennsylvania; member, Republican State Committee; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1927-1930; married, Ella Amelia Smith Lamb, children, Emily Virginia Lamb Cooke, Harriet Smith Lamb Cribb; died, May 4, 1953, Oil City Hospital, Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania; interment, Rynd Farm Cemetery, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
