John Calhoon Ferguson born about 1802, son of Samuel Bryon and Frances Thomson Ferguson; engaged, farming; elected, Whig, Pennsylvania State House of Representatives 1842-1843; postmaster of Mount Jackson; elected, Whig, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1854-1856; died about 1885, Independence, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Burial location unknown.
