Early Life:

Perry Aurora Gibson, born August 25 , 1857, Gibson Hill Farm, Washington Township, Erie County, August 25, 1857; son of Daniel Crispin and Maria Conant Gibson; public school education Washington Township; Edinboro State Normal School; distinguished honors, Iowa State University, 1883; returned, Edinboro; entered the law, office of John Proudfit, Edinboro, later the law office of William Benson, Erie, admitted, practice, United States Courts, 1886, subsequently admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts; corporation lawyer; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1897-1900; married, Almira R. Reeder Gibson, daughter, Opale Reeder Gibson Smith; died, December 30, 1906 (aged 49), Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interment, Erie Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
