GOSS, William I., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, March 22, 1870 in Houtzdale, Clearfield County, Pa; educated in the public schools; journalist, Houtzdale Observer, Johnstown Democrat, Pittsburgh Leader, and Pittsburgh Chronicle Telegraph; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1921, 1923, and 1925 terms; resigned from the House, February 19, 1926; composing room superintendent, Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph; died, November 10, 1947 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida; interred, Woodlawn Cemetery, Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
