BODEN, Daniel, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, October 1, 1848 in Wolverhampton, England; attended the common schools of England; trapper boy to superintendent, coal mines (1861-1904); school director, Carnegie borough (4 terms); elected, council, Carnegie (1 term); elected, school board president, Carnegie (10 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1908); died, March 12, 1931 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida; interred, Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
