Henry S. Taylor, born March 11, 1859, Schuylkill Haven, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; moved to Philadelphia with parents; attended, public schools; University of Pennsylvania Law-school, 1880; attorney; assistant city solicitor (Philadelphia) 1882-1886; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1887-1889; died, February 6, 1889, in the office of the Senate, pneumonia, home, 2473 Memphis Street, East Kensington Section, Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. Burial location unknown.
