McILHINNEY, Charles T., Jr., a Representative from Bucks County; born in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa., May 19, 1967; graduated, LaSalle College High School, 1985; B.S., finance, Bryant College, 1989; M.B.A., technology management, University of Phoenix, 1999; director and manager, Bucks County Office of Employment and Training, Inc.; member, Republican Committee (1990-1996); elected, council, Doylestown (1994-1996); elected as a Republican the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election, February 3, 1998 to serve the remaining 1997 term; Sworn-In, February 17, 1998 and reelected to serve 4 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2006); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (2007-2018; appointed, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (2007-2018; appointed, board, State Employees’ Retirement System (2009-2018); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2008).
