MILLER, Ronald E., a Representative from York County; born in York, York County, Pa., September 29, 1951; graduated, Dallastown Area High School, 1969; B.S., secondary education, Mansfield State Teachers College (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1973; manager, Adhesive Research, Inc.; member, Dallastown School Board (1988-1998); Republican Committeeman (1984-1999); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1999 term; reelected to serve 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Task Force on Commonwealth-Owned Lands (2002); appointed, Select Committee Investigating the Integration of Human Rights Standards in Pennsylvania Laws and Policies (2002, 2004); appointed, Joint Conservation Committee (2009-2010, 2013-2014); appointed, Chesapeake Bay Commission (2011-2014; vice-chair, 2012); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2014).
