MANDERINO, Kathy M., a Representative from Montgomery and Philadelphia and Counties; born in Monessen, Westmoreland County, Pa., October 28, 1958; graduated, Monessen High School, 1976; B.A., public service, The Pennsylvania State University, 1980; J.D., Temple University, 1989; program developer, Council for Labor and Industry (1980-1983); director of member services, Philadelphia Area Labor-Management Commission (1985-1989); attorney, Fox, Rothschild, O’Brien & Frankel (1989-1992); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1993 term; reelected to 8 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Eminent Domain (1997-1998); appointed, Select Committee Investigating the Integration of Human Rights Standards in Pennsylvania Laws and Policies (2002, 2004); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 2011 term; senior vice-president, Intercommunity Action, Inc. (2012-2015); appointed, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (2015-2017); commissioner, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (2017-2020); executive director, Pennsylvania Distillers Guild (2021-present).
