EBERHARTER, Herman Peter, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, April 29, 1892 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Fifth Avenue High School; LL.B., Duquesne University Law School, 1925; second lieutenant, 20th Infantry, United States Army (World War I); captain, United States Army Reserves; attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1935 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; elected, United States Congress (1937-1958); died in the office of Congress, September 9, 1958 in Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia; interred, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
