GRUCELA,  Richard T, a representative from Northampton County; born in Easton, Northampton County, Pa., April 27, 1946; graduated, Easton Area High School; attended, Keystone Junior College (now Keystone College); B.S., East Stroudsburg State College (now East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania); M.A., East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania; high school teacher (1968-1998); council president, Northampton County (1987-1990); Democratic committeeman, Lower Mount Bethel Township; chair, supervisors, Lower Mount Bethel Township; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1999 term and served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (2001-2008); appointed, Local Government Commission (2009-2010); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2010).
