NAILOR, Jerry L., a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pa., July 27, 1946; graduated, Mechanicsburg Area High School, 1964; A.A., Harrisburg Area Community College, 1971; served, United States Army (1964-1967); computer operator, Pennsylvania Blue Shield (1968-1970); deputy controller, Harrisburg (1971-1979); elected, treasurer, Cumberland County (1980-1988); member, Cumberland County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1989 term; reelected to 9 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 2009 term.
