DUNBAR, George S., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., July 3, 1960; graduated, Taylor Allerdice High School, 1976; B.S., business administration and accounting, Robert Morris College (now Robert Morris University), 1993; Certified Public Accountant; executive vice-president, Wright Industries; elected, commissioner, Penn Township; proprietor, Dunbar Consulting and Accounting (2005-2007); controller and chief financial officer, RYCO Incorporated (2007-2010); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2010; reelected to the House to serve 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2015-2018); appointed, Special Education Funding Commission (2019-present); elected, Majority Caucus Chair (January 25, 2021-2022); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (2021-present); appointed, Legislative Audit Advisory Commission (LAAC); elected, Republican Caucus Chair (2023-present).
