MENSCH, Robert, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Pennsburg, Montgomery County, Pa., August 27, 1945; graduated, Upper Perkiomen High School; A.B., business, Valley Forge Military College, 1965; served, United States Army; former branch system manager, AT&T; former SLS director and general manager, Arbros Communications; former township supervisor, Marlborough Township; chair, Upper Perkiomen Regional Planning Commission; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2007 and 2009 terms; resigned from the House, October 19, 2009; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (October 19, 2009-2022); elected, Majority Caucus Chair (2015-2016); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (2011-2022; chair, 2013-2022); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (2015-2022); appointed, Special Education Funding Commission (2019-2022).
