Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pa., September 19, 1972; graduated, Bethel Park High School, 1991; B.A., history, Rollins College, 1995; J.D., Duquesne University School of Law, 1999; staff, Duquesne University Law Review; attorney and Senior Professional in Human Resources, Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir, P.C.; member, transition team, Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato; board member, Allegheny County Airport Authority; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2007, 2009 and 2011 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012); elected, delegate, Democratic National Convention (2012); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (2013-June 21, 2015); appointed, Joint Conservation Committee (2013-June 21. 2015); president, Greater Pittsurgh Chamber of Commerce (2015-present).
