RAMALEY, Sean M., a Representative from Allegheny and Beaver Counties; born in Economy, Beaver County, Pa., May 13, 1975; graduated, Quigley High School, 1993; B.A., political science, Allegheny College, 1997; J.D., University of Pittsburgh School of Law, 2002; research and policy aide intern, Ohio Legislative Service Commission, Ohio House of Representatives (1997-1998); self-employed political campaign consultant and manager (1998-2001); attorney, United States Department of Labor (2002-2004); legislative staffer, State Representative Michael R. Veon (2004); assistant secretary, Beaver County Democratic Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 2004 and 2006; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2008); withdrew candidacy from 47th Senatorial District campaign (2008); deputy secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (2017-present).
