CORNELL, Susan Eileen, a Representative from Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties; born in Abington, Montgomery County, Pa., July 26, 1971; graduated, Hatboro-Horsham High School, 1989; A.A., Montgomery County Community College, 1996; B.A., history, Temple University, 2000; manager, Café La Fontana, Hatboro; legislative assistant, Pennsylvania State Representative Kate Harper (2001-2003); regional field coordinator, Republican Caucus, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (2003-2004); member, Hatboro Republican Organization; elected, council, Hatboro (2004); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, March 9, 2004 to serve the remaining 2003 term; Sworn-In, March 23, 2004 and reelected to serve the 2005 term; appointed, Select Committee on Influenza Vaccine (2006); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the 2007 term; senior director of public engagement, Philadelphia Parking Authority (2007-present).
