GILLESPIE, Keith J., a Representative from York County; born in Wilmington, New Castle County, De., September 18, 1952; graduated, Solanco High School, 1970; attended, Keystone Junior College, 1972; attended, Franklin & Marshall College, 1972-1974; graduated, Lancaster County Paramedic Institute, 1973; instrument engineer, Shell Oil company; paramedic, St. Joseph Hospital (1969-1979); founder, Lancaster Medical Transport Incorporated (1978); director of safety, security and pre-hospital systems, York Memorial Hospital (1980-2003); deputy coroner, York County (1997-1998); elected, council, Hellam Township (1998-2002); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2002; reelected to the House for 9 more consecutive terms; appointed, Chesapeake Bay Commission (2015-2022; vice president, 2022); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (2022).
